INFINITE CRISIS dominates

The October "actual sold" comic circulation numbers are in from Diamond Comics Distributors and reveal that INFINITE CRISIS #1 sold nearly DOUBLE the number of copies than Marvel's second place HOUSE OF M #7...
Here's the LINK to the article from ICV2...
INFINITE CRISIS #1 was also the first million dollar selling book since JLA/AVENGERS from back in September 2003, which had a higher price of $5.95 vs. $3.99...

That's awesome news! And in an odd twist of fate, in this case, I think the sales position is justified with IC.
I don't expect the 2nd issue to suffer the same huge drop-off most books see. I'm sure it'll see SOME decrease in sales, but nothing too shocking.
It really is exciting, comic goodness!!
Yeah, I know that here at our stores I only dropped orders about 10% for issue #2, then ended up advance -reordering that 10% back up...
I have to admit I REALLY REALLY liked the concept that was put forward in issue #2... made the hair stand up on the back of my arm.
Hey - I just noticed that your link graphic is the scene where Ambush Bug discovers Supe's secret identity - posing the question "Got your bib on backwards?"
That's awesome! The Bug is still one of my very favorite characters ever.
Good eye!
Now guess what the ones for "BLOG" and "LOCATIONS" are from...
Blog is US1 I think...US Archer working on his big rig.
I'm going to guess that Locations is Prez, but I'm not 100% certain about that one.
I would bet money on US1 though. Beware the Highwayman!!
Yep, you got BLOG right... keep trying on the other one...
Brother Power the Geek?
Yep!
Back on topic, wasn't issue 2 just great? That whole thing with Superman complaining about how depressing DC comics have been... that was really cool.
Yeah Steve, I do agree..
Bad happenings in the DC World...
Would have been cool to see Speedy "shooting up.." or does that not count?
I am interested to see how Kal-L intends to bring Earth-2 back. I really liked the Crisis recap by George Perez and Jerry Ordway. It blended perfectly with the story.
This was a great read and really has people talking/speculating about what is going to happen. Could DC really take the leap and reset the universe to an Earth 2? Could they really tone down the darkness in the DC universe? Risky, but interesting at least for a while...
Hey SPOILER WARNING, you mooks!
