Tuco Benedito Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez turns 90 today!

That's right, Eli Wallach, who co-starred in the quintessential western The Good, The Bad and The Ugly turns 90 years old today! Happy birthday to one of the greatest characters of all time, Tuco Benedito Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez (known as The Rat)!

That is amazing. It's hard to believe that movie is almost 40 years old; it's timeless. Hard to believe Wallach was 50 when he did the movie. He didn't look it back then, did he?
Did you ever get the "special edition" DVD? I keep wanting to watch The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly again; maybe I'll pick it up.
Of course I have the Special Edition... it has 20 EXTRA MINUTES OF MOVIE!
And, no, he sure didn't look 50 in 1965! What a great actor, what a great character, what a great movie!
I just watched this again recently, it is an awesome movie. Bill, I want to borrow the special edition!
Hey Ned, will do!
I would have to say this movie is probably in my personal Top Ten, maybe even in the Top FIVE. Once a year or so I wait until I have some free time without interruptions and watch it straight through... what a great flick. And Eli Wallach steals the spotlight in probably his greatest role.
It is a great movie. Your post makes me want to run out and buy a copy in case we get snowed in tomorrow. Lee Van Cleef was amazing; it's kind of sad to think he did Master Ninja (as seen on MST3K)just a decade later.
