The Weekend Comics Chat Open Thread - the Monkey Rodeo Edition!

Hey there! So what did you read this week? Anything good?

I read the latest issue of LOVE & ROCKETS (Vol 2 #17, Fantagraphics)... above is the back cover. It shows main character Hopey Glass through her yearly school photos... too cool. LOVE & ROCKETS is the comic that got me back into reading comics at age 20 or so... it's still the first comic on the reading stack when it arrives.
What's on your stack this week?

I read all of my books already...there were a few books that really picked up, which were Captain America and Wolverine: Origins. Claws #2 was good, though it wasn't quite as good as the first issue. Incredible Hulk was really good, consistent with the rest of the issues in the Planet Hulk story.
Did anyone read Revolution on the Planet of the Apes #6. It's a very good mini, and I think the trade will be out relatively soon.
Ms. Marvel I'll have to re-read, cause I wasn't very focused when I read it.
Finally, Ultimate X-Men was very good, with a good twist to it. It's setting up future plotlines, though I wish they would have done something to tease next issue, which begins the Cable storyline.
Overall, a well-rounded week. I also picked up Captain America #15, and I'm glad I did, because it was a great story, and it was being discussed in Cap #21's letters page.
Werewolves: Call of the Wild #2, which was fantastic.
And Hunter S. Thompson's BETTER THAN SEX, which isn't a comic, but is funny.
g-evan - I like the second issue of CLAWS... the plot's moving! And I will have to catch up on PLANET OF APES... the first two were great.
Brian - I never met a HST book I didn't like... "It never got weird enough for me."
bill-I agree about Claws, I'm not exactly sure what they're going to do in the last issue...maybe Black Cat and Wolverine start a relationship...probably not, but it would be interesting to explore.
Whadda you think?
Oh, by the way, Planet of the Apes actually gets better in the last three issues.
