Comix Connection is all about the Bond-ing

Check out THIS GREAT ARTICLE from the York Daily Record:
Nov 16, 2006 — When you step into Jim Dougert's Dallastown basement, you can't help but feel as if you've just entered a small novelty toy store.
The walls are covered from floor to ceiling with posters and shelves full of action figures and other various playthings. It only takes seconds to see the theme among the 1,400-plus items. One word: Bond. OK, OK, two words: James Bond.
Dougert is not alone in his Bond fascination. Buddies Todd Sheffer and David Houseal bonded over Bond a decade ago after meeting at Comix Connection in West Manchester Township. Like Dougert's basement, parts of their homes are decked out with Bond paraphernalia.
That's right... Comix Connection is the nexus for ALL KINDS of fans and their collections! Cool article, guys!
So, how was the new Bond flick?

Best Bond since 1969! Grim and gritty - the way Bond should be! No invisible cars or laser-shooting satellites.
Welcome back, Mr. Bond!
I thought the new Bond was good. I did kind of miss the gadgets myself. Not the rediculous ones, but the jet packs were fun...
Also, him falling in love after being bordering on psychotic when he was killing people...I dunno.
But besides that, it was a good film. I would recommend it.
3.5/5.
