Another Classic Cover - THE CAT!
Who remembers THE CAT? Nobody. But check out this awesomely perfect cover... it's got it all:
There is nothing more classic than a comic book which starts out with the following words:
"RAIN! MAKING THESE BUILDINGS SLIPPERY--HARD TO HOLD ON!
LOOKS LIKE MY FIRST TIME OUT IN THIS RIG--MIGHT ALSO BE MY LAST!"
Whereas, I would be saying:
"I'M SLIP-- AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Actually, the Cat shown is aka Greer Grant Nelson. She later gave up her Cat identity and took up a new one: Tigra. As Tigra, she's been a member of both the Avengers and the West Coast Avengers.
The woman in the similar costume seen in the Defenders is Patsy Walker, aka Hellcat.
