Buffy is a sell-out!
Last Wednesday saw the arrival of the eagerly awaited BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #1 from Dark Horse Comics. And when I say "eagerly awaited", I mean "EAGERLY AWAITED"! Boy, did we sell out fast! I guess I should have paid more attention when I saw this was written by BUFFY writer Joss Whedon, and is considered by him to be "Season Eight", a continuation of the TV series. Whoopsie. Sorry about that everyone, I really thought I had enough to hold everybody for a month or two. But fear not, Dark Horse Comics is immediately going back to press on issue #1 in a second printing (with a new cover), which should be in stores in 2-3 weeks! And I made sure I increased orders for issue number 2. If you would like a copy of BUFFY #1 (second printing), just call, email or stop in at either Comix Connection and we'll put you on the list!

Thats actually her sword slash axe from the last season of the show. It was also in Joss Whedon's Fray comic from awhile ago from dark horse. Very good book to pick up.

Fray was indeed good, as well as every frackin' thing this Browncoat has ever read by him.
it will be interesting to see if joss' trademark witty repartee and rhythm can still snap in cell form. so far so good. now if only the art would catch up to the writing. is this the best they can do for long waiting/suffering fans?
