The Monday Morning (double heh) Comix Connection Poll 5/29/07

Well, here's the results of last week's Completely Unscientific Poll Question:

ALL-STAR BATMAN and ROBIN is the greatest comic book in the entire universe because:
  • 35.7% - Best. Comedy. Comic Book. EVER. DC is pulling our collective leg. And you fell for it!
  • 17.9% - It's obvious that writer Frank Miller is trying to win some ridiculous bar bet.
  • 14.3% - It's apparently so lovingly crafted that it takes a freaking YEAR between issues.
  • 10.7% - RATS! The other white meat. It's what's for dinner!
  • 7.1% - Where else can you see an insane, potty-mouthed, child-endangering, cop-killing Batman?
  • 7.1% - Huge continuity glitches like Robin's milk carton appearance 10 minutes after being kidnapped.
  • 3.6% - Where else can you see more teeth kicked out by Black Canary than found in a dental supply catalog?
  • 3.6% - Where else can you see an insane, potty-mouthed, severely conflicted Wonder Woman dissing ALL men?
  • 0.0% - That awesome "Variant Cover" for issue number five says it all.
  • 0.0% - Kidnapped by Batman that is. In a flying Batmobile. While he mows down some of Gotham's finest.
So the consensus is that it's some ridiculous joke or bar bet. Good enough. Still fun to read isn't it?
