A near-unanimous Pick of the Month?
Is it possible? Could ALL the Comix Connection Counter Monkeys be in unanimous agreement just this once? Behold the object of contention, quite possibly the most overlooked and underrated book of the year:

Ugh. I am buying this on your recommendation - oh AND Joe said it was great. However I have been successful for over a year now with my ban of Azarello. After "For Tomorrow" and his final Hellblazer story, I swore never to buy one of his books again.
I'll give this a shot though.
linnen - I know what you're saying... Azarello is a "binary" writer... his stuff is either (A) material or (D) rated... never anything in between. But when he hits, hit hits it out of the park!
I gave in on this, not to mention For Tomorrow, in all it's twisted glory, reads much better in trade (just recently figured this out - being the gluttion for punishment that I am)
