The Colonel takes it to a completely different level
Gaze in amazement at an entire new paradigm in beverage consumption:
THE HALF GALLON BUCKET, or
"THE BLOATER"
"THE BLOATER"
(That's me standing beside it.)
Available at KFC, surely this gargantuan drum of beverage will satisfy the needs of even the most demanding of sugary liquid consumer! That's a whopping 64 ounces or well over 1750 ml! Thats more than five cans of soda in one handy drink pail. I love this country!
I first ran across this on my most recent trip home from Florida. I almost cried with joy when my sweetie brought it out to the car, filled with iced tea. Subsequently, I must've seen every single rest stop in the great state of South Carolina...
This one's for amthcaictm.

Hey, that's the ol' Bill action figure posing there next to the megacup! Waitaminit, "megacup" sounds like somethin you'd wear playing football... Ewwwww.
stymieresh - No, that's really ME standing beside that diabetes-in-a-drum! It's that big!
That is par the course for Southern fast food restaurants- ever been to a Sonic down there??
As soon as I read the word "SONIC", my mouth started watering. I love SONIC, but I also love KRYSTAL BURGERS with an unholy passion. (They're the southern version of WHITE CASTLE.)
OK, now I'm hungry.
Heh. Living in the South does have some redeeming features...
she said as she ate her Sonic burger, cheese tots, and Route 44 sweet tea.
NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! Except KFC has those how-I-hate when-the-waitstaff-says-"will-Pepsi-be-all-right" products. And is that southern SWEET tea in that bucket? That liquid goes too far for even my darkest sugar poison lovin’ self. (Did teams of mad confederate scientists figure out just how much sugar could stay in suspension to sugar coma yanks lost below the Mason-Dixon?) Sonic on the other hand has the yummy good cherry lime aid, right…hey, all this typing is making me kind ‘o thirsty…
The South rocks!! I LOVE SONIC- it happily led to my weight condition :)))
Plus- not as much snow (stinkin Central Pa)
I hear tell that in Texas you can find Mexican-bottled Coke in which they use ACTUAL CANE SUGAR like in the old days, not crappy old corn sugar...
*stares wistfully off into the distance*
strangely enough the health food stores are full of sugar cane drinks, but with out the mystery dyes and brain poping chemicals that we've come to know and love
See but sugar cane is natural, whereas all those chemicals are found in nature.
Waitaminnit.
