From the vault - 20th Anniversary Edition Part 7
The Earliest Known Photo:

After much sifting through various boxes of photos and chaff and whatnot, I've come to the conclusion that this is the oldest photo of the very first store location of Comix Connection in the Delco Plaza... the 333 square foot "phone booth" store. The space was previously an insurance office (I think) and it had an air conditioner above the door and... no bathroom. We used to have to go to the restroom in the International Family Restaurant and endure dirty looks from the owner. If there were more than three people in that store, I felt like screaming as I am a tad claustrophobic. We were in that location when BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE came out and we got in a HUGE order of something like TWENTY-FIVE COPIES, with a $2.95 cover price when most comics were still $1.00 or $1.25. I thought we were gonna go bankrupt. Anyway, if any of you out there have any other photos of this store, please send them to me... I'm getting tired of looking at pictures of ME.
(Notice that I was wearing Venom before Venom was cool... and I still have that Hawaiian shirt.)

Personally, I wouldn't buy a comic book off a guy who looks like that, but that's just me.
