From the Vault: 20th Anniversary Edition Part 3
A fine shot from the York Store (the Spaghetti Factory)... if you look close, you can see the gleam in our eyes that will be the Camp Hill Mall store, still a year or two away at this point (1990 or so)...

I can just make out an issue of ROGUE TROOPER on the rack, and that's a copy of COMICS VALUES MONTHLY above my shoulder. I can also see BATMAN DIGITAL JUSTICE and ELEKTRA LIVES AGAIN hardcovers...
Oh yeah, and there's some kind of SALE going on at Comix Connection next Friday, Saturday and Sunday...

That's a great pic! Bill looks like he could be in the Smiths or the Cure while Ned seems to be going for a Dennis the Menace thing! I love it!
Hey, with all this talk of the 20th Anniversary, don't you think you should have a special sale or something??? Maybe give 1% off for each year you have been in business....
*snicker*
Sale? What, are you NUTS?
I was just talking to need about that old store. I kinda liked that one the most too, i bought my first comic book from you guys off that very same rack right there behind ya.
adozenbananas - That store did have a certain charm, like the constant moviegoer traffic that would use us for a short-cut to the UA Theaters! Still, lots of good times there!
You guys still use those crappy racks in York don't ya?
"crappy"?
I love those racks. Those racks have been through a lot, yet still soldier on! Those are great racks. Plus they're nice and yellow.
What's all this about "nice racks"?!?! Did I stumble across the wrong blog?
Ha!!
Who said Johnny Cash is the only man in black!!!
Funny thing- I am thinking that picture was circa 1991-93?? My hair used to look a bit like that, at least, when I was out of the army.
I have always firmly believed that short hair is the clean-cut American way, and have tried to live that ideal.
