From the vault - 20th Anniversary Edition Part 11

OK, this is really, really cool. Longtime fan and all-around swell pal Todd Sheffer sent this nice tidbit to put up on the website... HIS ORIGINAL CONCEPT SKETCHES FOR THE COMIX CONNECTION LOGO!

I remember that I already was visualizing the "30's DC comic logo font" from titles like ACTION COMICS and ADVENTURE COMICS




and have always liked Art Deco design... Todd played around with all sorts of different ideas and you can see the eventual logo we went with over there on the left side. Also included is a copy of the very first business card there near the middle bottom.
That is just plain amazing! Great stuff, and Thanks, Todd!
