WOW indeed. Thanks to everyone who came in for the three-day Halloween Sale! Boy, that was fun! Many customers were spotted in costume, for which they received their TEN FREE COMICS! I will be posting the photos I took later in the week because I FORGOT THE STOOPID DATA CABLE for my camera at the Mechanicsburg store... FREE COMIC BOOK DAY - The excitement mounts!

Well, I don't know about all of you, but I'm starting to really look forward to Free Comic Book Day 2007. As you already know, we will be having a huge sale and will be hosting guest artists at both stores. Additionally we will be having a giant Prize Drawing at both stores, plus other unannounced surprises.

Now the bad news: There will be NO cake at either store on Free Comic Book Day. Maybe some Goldenberg's Peanut Chews, but NO CAKE. Sorry about that.

UN-MEN Update!

Check this out! Local artist Mike Hawthorne is currently working on a new series from DC/Vertigo... the UN-MEN! Spinning out of the old SWAMP THING (1972) comic, the UN-MEN were created by Anton Arcane as immortal and invincible bodies for him to occupy... and some of them are still out there.
